Got avon zz3's on the rear of mine and they're don't exactly inspire confidence. Makes driving quickly.a bit unpredictable which is fun and scary at the same time.
Different compound though so could be completely different.

See, I'd say exactly the opposite about the ZZ3; I thought it was a great tyre on fwd and Quattro cars; not tried it on a rwd car though. Good wet and dry weather performance and the tyres didn't fall off a cliff as they wore like some other brands have.
I'm running ZV5 now on my Jag and quite happy with them.

That's odd. They're 235 wide on the rears aswell which should be able to handle the 230 bhp perfectly fine. they have 5mm tread on aswell.

Yes, but the 'se' spec comes with 225 rears with the same engine. The sport spec has 255 rears.

A 3.0i z4 with 225 rears is.
