1.0 is quicker (marginally) than the 1.2 8v. The sxi is 16v 65bhpB / 75bhpC and much quicker.

Neither of them are quick and 45bhp and 55bhp make no difference!

No need to go off on one, just saying people who by cars of this nature shouldn't be worrying about which is quicker. None of them are ever gonna be fast! Like I said, I just find it funny.

accordin to total VX magazine, all x12xe engines (the ones from the corsa b sxi) were 76bhp, and the figures were fiddled by vx in order to get a lower insurance group and tax rating or smth.

1.2 8v - 45bhp
1.0 12v - 55bhp

my mum had both n she sed the 1.0 12v was faster
