After 3 weeks of searching and seeing many badly kept cars at dealers, we finally found her one she likes!
Body work work is immaculate, full vauxhall service, only 35000 miles also! It's the 1.8 so goes well an has full leather etc.
And before anyone says anything, she is actually a hair dresser!
The only thing that let's it down is the diver insert on the gear knob is knackered but I've heard you can replace this? Struggling to find anything on eBay though!

Looks alright that.
Did they only do these in a limited number for a short time?? Never ever see them and they still command quite a premium.

My neighbour has a 1.8 version too. Shifts really well! (Not been in it since is got my z4 though so might feel slow actually)
My sister had a 1.4 for a while, kept having an issue with the boot leaking but I think they are a nice motor

Oh yeah I'll be insured on it and will defo be 'needing' it often!
Anywhere online as a good stockist for spare parts? Eg the gear nob and wiper arms as they are a little chipped etc.

I don't care I'd fucking have one. I want something like this but don't really want to pay the slk /z4/mk3 mx5 running costs. 1.8 one of these would be fun. I'd have to have a arden blue one with silver roof with the heated leather

Bought a 1.4 one for £500
Great cars, just watch out for the roof electrics. Try to put the roof up and down at least once a week.

Yeah I'm fairly sure it is £280. If not it's very close to being the same.

My ex had one of these too, i thought it weighed an absolute ton and even with the 1.8 was rather sluggish. U cant use the boot when the roof is down either which is abit lame if u want to go away for a weekend by the coast or something
