Much to my old king's discust!

The 13 year old SLK was starting to go wrong, so she went out at the weekend and bought this:

Pretty good spec, zenons, heated seats and neck scarf, it's not silver, 1.8 Supercharged Auto. Feel much more lively than the old one.

She's happy anyway, it's a lovely kit of kit IMO

"old queen"

I despise that saying! However the saying certainly fits the car on this occasion.

It's taking the mick out of Steve, I call my Mum 'Mum' or 'Mother' if I'm winding her up

It's 100 times the last one, nothing wrong with the last one but it was very square and boxy. Got offered naff all on trade in but there are soo many SLK200's for sale of her age that it would take forever to get rid of it. I wanted to take it off her for the trade in price for Lauren but it only does 23 to the gallon and she's doing mega commutes now

They're not buttons though, they are £250 + VAT a month for a car that you don't own

Would save that in fuel/tax/insurance over the petrol in that car tbh.

I'm not picking a fight but she's having a bad month if she gets through £80 in a month. £30 every two weeks, that does her

No, this is my Mum's car, she does barely any miles, she works three days a week (term time only), goes to Sainsburys once a week and the tennis club a couple of times a week.

Lauren is commuting to uni a every day, 50 odd mile round trip everyday. I wanted to buy Mum's old merc for Lauren as it was a steal but it wouldn't make snece for her to drive a juicy car at the moment
