SeeTickets site is an abomination; you'd think someone there would have a clue about infrastructure

Never got tickets, gutted. After the site crashed around 9 I never saw the holding page again, just that my browser couldn't connect to server.

That's the shit thing about this year, I didn't get a holding page once but you got 23 tickets. Something fucked up at See Tickets, but shit happens. Hopeing for a decent amount available in the resale.

All of our group (around 30 of us) got tickets. about 4 or 5 of us got through and got groups of 6.

Thats the problem when demand outstrips supply. Think seetickets holds ups pretty well considering.

SeeTickets clearly haven't got the infrastructure nor capacity to handle heavy traffic, hence why majority of the time the page just timed out rather than sticking you in a queue.
Only advantage of their shite web service is that anyone remotely computer literate can fiddle with their DNS and get straight to in the queue/forwarded to the 'buy' page; that's not how it should work though.
