Some people might remember my old Nova turbo that I had for over 12 years. Had an offer I couldn't refuse for it a couple of months ago so sold it. Didn't intend buying another heavily modified car to replace it but that lasted all of a month or so.

Just totted up the receipts for this thing and it makes my Nova look cheap, car has had one owner from new and the receipts for mods come to more than £25k on top of the £18k purchase price. Couldn't resist buying something that someone else has wasted money on this time so I shouldn't need to do much.

There are a few things I want to do including putting a standard bonnet on to replace the carbon one and maybe getting the wheels done black but other than that I'm happy with it. I appreciate the kit and spoiler are an acquired taste.

Power is at the wheels.

Long drive back today and have realised the car is far too loud, must be getting old. Good fun though.

Looks like the mugen rear end. Not really a fan of these but it must go very well.

Mugen rear Not sure about the front though... looks a bit iffy.

I think I jumped too fast when selling my FN2 for the Impreza, should have SC'd it first

could you not have the bonnet sprayed? but with a thin layer of paint, just enough to allow the carbon weave show when you're up close?

I would never have spent that money on the parts.

Don't like carbon at all plus the fit isn't that great so just want to go back to standard metal.

Remmeber your Nova from my Nova days, amazing car, but I remember you had a lack of use from it, fair enough though!

Type R looks awesome, Makes so much sence to buy a already modified car like that.

Still got the MR2 (s)?

Breaking the mk1 MR2 turbo at the moment and keeping the engine for my Mk3 MR2 one day.

295bhp atw from a JSC? Must have a decent spec! More power is all the FN2's ever needed Love the mugen kit on that.

Had it remapped at TDI North today and the car feels so much better despite not making mega power figures. Got torque steer like in the Nova now. Car was majorly over fuelling and ignition was being pulled out far too much.

Todays results were 308bhp and 200ft/lb with intake temps at 70+ degrees. Unfortunately we have blown the baffles in the rear silencer so it sounds dreadful now, new exhaust next.

I would have like to think so but that's not what I saw. Had it up for sale for ages and had no interest and luckily found the right buyer as I don't think many Nova's have changed hands for £7k ish in the last 5 years. Can only think of two others.

Got a jackson charged ep3

Had it for four years with no issues at all. Daily car and tracked. Cracking setup.

Limited slip diff? If not get one in. Mine just grips and goes straight. Best mod I got as it transforms the car

It's got a Quaife LSD. Still torque steers though exactly the same as my Nova did with the Quaife diff.

Hmm strange as long as the road is flat mines fairly docile.
Could be the 19's
Will look good if you get a standard bonnet. What exhaust you going for?

Still trying to sort a bonnet, even considering getting this one sprayed instead.

Going for the same exhaust as I want to keep twin exit and all the others are 2.5", this is 2.75".
