Hi guys,

I recently purchased a janspeed manifold from euro performance and I just realised it's for the Corsa sport not the GSI. Because they both have the X16XE engine I brought it because I can't find them elsewhere without a 5 week wait. I just wanted to know if the manifold will fit me GSI?

Thanks in advance.

The gsi has both the c16xe and the x16xe. Not 100% sure if there the same manifold

Some slight differance, ports might be different on the manifold, depends how they designed it (janspeed that is)

But the flange to the cat will be different.

May as well send it back and get proper fit. Would habe to cut flange off and get the rite 1 welded back on. If the ports are retro (bodge) fitted defeats the point of having it.

I don't think the ports are any different as I've seen from other web sites that they are all the same. With the flange issue would I be able to buy a full Corsa sport exaust with decat and fit that to the GSI? Would all the brackets be in the same place ect

So I called the place where I ordered it and they told me the manifold I ordered with them is the same part number as the one for the GSI so they should be exactly the same 100%, but I am not 100% sure if I have the C16XE or the X16XE my GSI is an M reg so 94/95. Does anyone know what engine they put in the GSI's in that year?

Cheers Craig great help, so in other words this manifold will fit my GSI but I may have to cut and weld the old flanges onto the new manifold, I'm going to order a piper decat and a full piper cat back system

You will have to remove the sai pump though

From memory, the X16 and C16 have a different manifold to cat flange design (different location under the sump), so a C16 manfold won't fit a X16 or vice-versa.

However, if you fit both a X16 manifold and cat/decat to a C16 it'll fit fine.

To answer your question, the manifold will fit fine - you don't even need to remove the SAI pump and hoses, the Janspeed manifold has a hole in there for it.

Mines the x16xe engine which is the same as the manifold. I've read in places that removing the SAI improves performance is that true? Thanks for all the help guys.
