Like fuck will it ever do 90 mpg in real world driving!

What's the 0-60 on one of those? 13-14 seconds?

Reviews say 74mpg was easily achieved through mixed driving!

0-60 in 12.4 seconds, 110mph top speed.
£0 road tax.

The only time your ibiza fr has ever reached that is when you were sitting at 60 and reset the trip computer.

My trip computer will indicate all sorts of insane numbers.

What I can actually measure from consumed fuel and driven distance tells quite a different story.

If he used that method to find out the actual consumption it would have been roughly half those claims.

No.

When I get around 72mpg on my trip, my real mpg is around 68.

You don't get 68mpg in your 130k mile Fabia. I'd be surprised if at all but certainly not long beg term.

I guarantee I do.

Cornwall to Bristol to Cornwall.
380 miles

£35 worth of diesel at £1.37 a litre. =25.55 litres = 5.62gallons
380/5.62= 67.6mpg.

I do the same trip at least 28 times a year and it can fluctuate between 62mpg @ 75mph average up to 72mpg at 62mph average.

If the only driving you ever do is at a constant 60mph then fair enough.
