I'm considering tuning options for the corsa as I've mot'd it and spent a couple of hundred on it so gonna keep it for a while. I'm looking for decent power with minimal fuss. Any comments, info and suggestions are welcome and appreciated

The budget is negotiable lol depends on what's available but tb's with management for £1500-£2000 isn't really what I wanna spend

Bike carbs are an option but nothing larger than zx6r carbs or something about 32/34mm chokes. But will need to run megajolt to control spark/ignition. Or go bike tbs and get a standalone ecu. Both aren't far off price wise ti do anyway.
Give bogg brothers a call they do full kits so should be able to help

Engine size? For all we know, you could be putting the 45's on a 1.0 12v

x16xe was probably a clue to engine size.

In the title tiger
40s will work if you can fit a tps and then get megajolt to control the spark

What sort of figures will I be looking at with 40s cams exhaust and a set up on rr?

What cams? You looking into? Just if going as far as carbs, id say spend the bit extra and have your pistons pocketed with abit of headwork and run something about 270dur and no more than 10.4mm lift if keep standard valve springs as above that lift they will coilbind. Just for the cost of a set of fast road cams to suit standard pistons the gains arent great whereas if spent abit more and had pistons done then should see 150-160 dependent on cam choice +ex manifold/system too

I would save the hassle and expense and go down the Powerbox route.
I reckon all in, for the carbs alone, you will be looking at £500+ easily.

Simple.

Well i was quite a bit off with my price then. You will be well over £500 to get them fully fitted, set-up and running.

Its sensible money still for what I guess will be decent gains. If another oprtion comes up that I like more I'll take it but just chucking a power box on doesn't do it for me lol

40s + 45s will sound the same, just 40s will be better suited for your engine unless went all steel then you'd be better with 45s. Do you get any inlet manifold with the carbs your mate has?

Only thinking resale if had a different inlet. What condition are the carbs in? Just if Haven't been rebuilt for a while then will be 80/90 for rebuild kits.
