Noticed the first gritters of the year out in force in my local area tonight spreading the dreaded salt every bloody where which, IMO means winter has finally arrived lol. Time to finally get the alloys in black, no danger am I attempting to keep white wheels clean through the winter weather lol. First time I've seen the cars external temp gauge dip below 4 degrees as well.

I might get the winter tyres put on the Wife's car later, but it's still pretty warm down here.

I've packed the Corsa away, but it was only taxed until end of October. It's still mild in Lincolnshire & were even getting sunshine and 15c+ in the early afternoons.

No problems here. The south ftw

Scottish snow is great. I remember laying down in it and getting buried because it was so thick. Another memory is a tractor with a snow plough attached, removing the snow from the in-laws road never see that here!

Its supposed to be one of the worst winters ever up here this year if the reports anything to go by.

The reports are nothing to go by. It's difficult enough to predict next week (or even next day in a lot of cases). Anyone who says it will be one of the worst winters has as much chance of being right as someone saying it'll be a mild winter.

Pretty sure Scotland get the vote on whether they want to be independent, not the other way round.
