Before the focus was crashed, I sorted out a deal for the missus which involved getting her the car and colour she wanted for a decent price. We had equity in the focus so ended up getting the colour for nothing (725 quid) and no deposit (should've been 75 quid) for 65 quid less a month!
We're currently in the dealership picking it up, so grabbed some quick pics.
I still don't love the colour, it's proper girly/gay, but I won't be driving it much so thats not an issue.

Yes mate. Dagenham motors do deals for dagenham ford plant employees that are much cheaper than public prices.
Wish they brought something decent out so I could use my privilege ticket, but nothing takes my fancy at the moment.

Don't Ford still have a stake in Aston though?

I like the colour, fiesta is on my list as a possible new car for next year. I like the zetec S and titanium specs.

there was a white titanium 5dr there which looked stunning. Had bigger wheels, privacy glass and full leather. Bet it cost a fortune though!
Ours was just under £8.5k and £119 a month over 2 years, which is imo cheap for a brand new fiesta.
The missus loves it which is the main thing. The focus was too big for her and she kept complaining that the car always looked dirty (black paint).

£119 per month is a bargain.
It is the old hat 1.25 80ps thing though isn't it?

Yes deano. Had this engine before and it's not that bad. Had the 1.0 ecoboost in the focus which was nice.
Probably get that engine when it gets traded in next year.

Definitely get the 125bhp ecoboost next time, after a 350 mile round trip it was fantastic. Returning 45mph already and it wasn't a slow drive down.

Gave the car a quick wipe down after the rain and I can confirm Ford valeting leaves a lot to be desired. Polish residue in all the shut lines and some weird grime stuff on the centre brake light.
We had diamondbrite applied as it was free which leaves the paint nice and glossy. Just wish someone could apply it properly.
Also took the crappy advertising stickers off. 4 in total. I don't understand why people peave them on.
Interiors nice. Similar to our old model except the plastics are gloss black and the lighting has been updated. The digital temp guage is a good idea, especially considering the last one didn't have one!

Interior reminds me of the Peugeot 208 apart from the lack of huge screen.
Hate garage stickers, the z4 still had viners bmw ones on when I got it.

I'd prefer the Focus myself as it's a bit bigger.
Fiesta is alright though

The focus was a lot more 'grown up' and quieter whereas the fiesta is the better handling chuckable town car which suits us better.
Must have used the rear seats about 3 times in the 10 months we had it, so didn't see the point in the extra 2 doors or the space.
I'd recommend either btw. ford have come a long way since I bought my mk6 fiesta new.

I had an 11 plate Fiesta 1.2 Edge as a company car. Was alright! I'd have another at the right price.
Did 24k with no major issues apart from the door rubber coming loose.

Love the colour, id be tempted. But no way would I pay £700+ for it. Fair play though, it is nice. Really like the new Fiesta, pretty pretty car.
