Today I cleaned up my steelies and sprayed them gloss black.
Spent a long time rubbing down any bits of rust, cleaning, prepping, primering and spraying.
The wheels look good but the tyres are a lot less shiny than the wheels
I finished doing them when it was slightly dark and idk maybe I'll wait until morning to see what they look like.
My car is a star silver B and the black and silver look suits it nicely. I've got black trim bumpers which have been heat gunned and such.
Anyway, who else has done this and what do I do about the tyres? tyre shine or am I being too paranoid? haha

Back to black on the tyre walls makes them look 100x better.
The dark greyish colour of tyres on dark coloured wheels looks pikey.

The gloss black on the wheels will just be highlighting the tyre's.
Even more so if they are big chunky fukers. What size are the tyre's?? Anything more than a 45 profile and they will look shit no matter what.
