Due next week apparently. Never know what to believe. Part of me feels it won't happen and they have it wrong, but you never know I guess!

The forecast comes mainly from what the computer models show. Some of the variations of the models show possible snow, some don't. It can and will change daily (actually multiple times daily as the next run of the models appears) until then.

Own a BMW and a fwd Audi, if it snows I won't be taking either car out, not worth the risk and I see no reason to.
I think it's mainly remote / northernly parts of the UK that might see it?

What this man said. I don't even start taking forecasts seriously until, at the absolute earliest, two days in advance.

If the Daily Express has it on it's front page, then it must be true

Don't drive my main car in heavy rain or snow anymore really.
Too many idiots, that could write off a car I've spent years building

People down here can't even stay in their own lanes. Half the reason I no longer use bus lanes in heavy traffic. People just sway in and out whilst texting or doing their fake tan

I want to buy a snow car this year, a shitter of a KA/Corsa. Hd a KA one year that was my sisters that made it through all the shit weather, went everywhere. Had a Corsa that someone pulled out in front of my in but I chose to smack the kerb and a bush instead of ramming up the back of them and being taken for 12k's worth of personal injury by illegal immigrants. Cost me £80, refunded the £60 tax and scrapped it.

Debating buying a winter rust bucket, cheaper than snow tyres.

Unless that's sarcasm, why would you buy a brand new standard hatchback, then buy an old standard hatchback to drive about in for half the year? No need for winter tyres outside of that.
