I've got the chance to buy a full conversion package inc exhaust, fittings, hubs etc basically a bolt in package. He wants £400 but is open to offers and its been for sale for ages! I wasn't looking to do this conversion but if I get a good deal I will. How much is a package like this for a corsa b worth? I don't wanna pay what he's asking but if its a fair price I'll leave it

Sounds reasonable if you have the same shell etc.

Lol £250 was my thought but I didn't want to insult him. I didn't really wanna xe it but mine needs new head gasket and timing belt so the costs are equal really if I get it at the right price which makes it tempting

£400 for a decent engine is good with all the bits! If you're saying that this is too much money maybe you really shouldn't be looking into an XE conversion. Can you see it running before you buy?

No its all taken out and on a pallet. I don't think its too much for what it is, it seems a fair price judging by the comments, its just that I wasn't considering an xe as an option. But if I can get it cheap I'd be silly not to at least have it until I make my mind up what I wanna do. I only have the corsa because I bought and modified a few cars for my little brother including his first car which was a mk3 polo lowered 110mm with a 1.0 litre engine lol and he gave this to me once his scooby was back on the road. Its the first time HE ever gave ME a car lol so its a bit of a sentimental thing ( I know I know violins and all that ) so I just wanna make something we can both have shits and giggles with that everyone else hasn't got. I once broke a corsa redtop to put the engine in an astra gte!! Lol I appreciate the comments though as I don't wanna take the piss out of the fella selling it

If it is genuinely EVERYTHING needed then I'd go for it.. Maybe offer 300 and see where it goes.. My XE was about the most fun car I've driven so will do what you say you want out of it!
