Corsa b rear wheel bearing, I've heard somewhere that it's possible to re-tighten/adjust instead of just replacing???
Is this true and if so what's the procedure??
Thanks

as DONN3R said... better off just replace it... once fitted the new one tighten it up then back it right off... i usually go by the weight of the ratchets enough... they done need to be that tight once pressed in

Use a torque wrench. Haynes manual has how it should be tightened IIRC.
They are really cheap, worth just doing if it were me Mark. Not too bad a job. Photos in my project thread when I did mine I think.

Ok cool, it's just one of those jobs I've never had to do on a corsa, do they have to be pressed or can they be knocked in??

bang the old race out with a screw driver and hammer then use the old race to knock the new one in to place, simple realy no need for any special tools or a press

I've done a few, god knows how you've managed it in 20 mins.
Tools out, loosen wheel, jack car up, axle stand in place, lower onto axle stand, remove wheel fully, remove drum.
Do the job, then do all the above again.
Must be quick

Well hardly requires a lot of tools, and one of them being an impact gun makes taking the wheel off etc quicker
Didn't use axle stands either, I'll make sure I follow a Haynes manual word for word next time
