Hi guys, i recently bought a 1998 corsa with no engine that was previously a 1.2 8v however i plan to install a x16xe. The car currently has no engine or wiring loom etc however i've bought a 1.6 ecu, charging and fuel loom, i'm just wondering how i connect this up to get the in car electrics working? The car is a merit so its basic spec however someone has installed electric windows and i want to test to ensure they work so i don't have to replace anything. The car has no battery either. Do i just need to connect the charging loom and install a battery to get the in car electrics working?
Thanks guys.

corsasport with very little to do with corsas
alrite mate, has the actual car chassis loom been changed before or is there evidence of added wires where the car loom connects to the door loom?
have you got a multimeter to hand?

Personally I wouldnt rewire a corsa and swap engines on a corsa. Pick them up cheap enough in fully working order, u obviously have too much time on ya hands

I've changed dash looms before,
Just a case of unplugging everything, and running cables behind dash and plugging in again,

I'll have a look today for you Jed, and I'll take some pictures, I know there's defidently a small fuse box that's been added in the passanger side underneath the glove box, I presume this is for the windows.
