pic request of ex road/race cars with no standard dashboards... just gathering cheap and easy ideas of how to mount clocks and shit...

Why dont you just have a rev gauge and thats it? You dont need a speedo..

basically yeah, rev gauge, engine temp, fan switch and wideband gauge, maybe a fuel pump switch too just for saftey... im thinking alloy plate somehow mounted to the top of the column somewhere but where and how...

old pic of my dash, made a plate to stick over where the heater controls used to be and mounted my gauges to that

yeah im toying with that idea as iv got a complete sport dash sat here and also got the chopped half dash out my last corsa v6 but not too sure... think it'd be a fair few gram lighter without all the unneeded shite...
i dont even need the fuel gauge or anything like that so im thinking more simple


also, whats the back of a standard corsa rev clock look like when you've dismantled the clocks??

I've cut my sport dash in half where the centre console ends (if that makes sense) and fibreglassed over the open end and also the heater control bit. Got one switch in there and will put some gauges in there too, makes it so much easier to get behind it for wiring etc too

Wouldnt have a dash at all in your case, just an ali box for switches and a rev counter with shift light
