So on monday I'm going to collect my new project - I've had one before but bit off more than i could chew and ran out of talent...

http://bit.ly/1eoPO9O

Sorry if the link doesn't work as I'm on my mobile...

Bit of a discrepancy as to whether or not it will be tax exempt when the new rules come into play in april.

The crack is that any vehicle manufactured in 1973 or before will be exempt... This was registered on 01/02/1974 so its possible it was manufactured before that..

The correct reg is WBY 777M is any one knows how to check as the DVLA says unknown.

Plans are to MOT and use it while i collect parts for a rally rep and generally do little jobs. Wont be cutting and holes in this one.

Opinions?

Rally arches, cage and stripped out, wide minlites or banded steels and the grey toms porsche is.

Engine wise it will be the standard lump tuned or a 1.4 k series bolted to the imps transaxle so 100bhp ish. Leaning much more towards the imps engine though as they can be 10k rpm screamer... Just they are expensive

Im also going to sell the evo most likely

Needs a roof chop, that roof is mega high

Reminds me of those cars outside supermarkets, where you put 50p in it and it rocks back and forth while playing music.

I would still say you are biting off more than you can chew with this Imp. You would have been better off buying 1 already done and then ruined it.
