Little bit different but there is a Rover 800 in a back yard at the top of my street in similar condition to some of these, going off the tax disc it's been sat about 10 years. Also, a different spot but still local, a Corsa C that's been left for a few years now in someone's back yard.

What a fucking waste indeed.

Remember my uncles yard used to look like that, had at least 15 cars, all classics (but nothing sporty) just sitting there for years. He eventually got them cleaned up and sold luckily so none were scrapped.

I don't understand how any of that happens

There's a place near me that has a few cars outside that haven't moved for years, nothing as rare or interesting but still really strange seeing them parked up with moss growing on them as they don't look that bad really.
