So this website
http://www.classiccarimages.co.uk/
It appears to let people upload pictures of their cars, the owner then claims to "edit" them then prints it off and send it to them for £30 or £70 with a frame.
Sound reasonable? maybe, until we look at the "edits"
Here is the "glowing edges" edit

Here is the "cut out" edit of which the site owner on facebook describes as a "cracking edit"

You may have noticed that these are merely the default filter options in Photoshop, which require one simple click, a free app on a smart phone could probably achieve the same
The worrying thing is, people actually probably part with their hard earned for this "service" and these "cracking edits"

Just because its easy doesn't mean people won't pay money for it.
These days I don't get angry about stuff like that, I think about setting up competitors.
You should do that, would think framing the photos etc. is right up your street.
If what you're saying is true they'll fly out.

Not sure what's worse; the edits or the text font.

I think its more the fact the person doing it is trying to suggest, to those who don't know better, that these are some sort of advanced editing techniques that he/she spends hours doing.
The setup just also just seems a bit weird IMO, but if it is actually making them cash then congrats

Comic Sans genuinely wouldn't look out of place here

I hope his copy of photoshop is fully paid for if he is earning money from it.

Cracking effort, however you really can tell the difference between this and the professional ones on the site

People will pay for convienence.
The same as you can buy a single broccoli and cauliflower cheaper then the bags of pre cut stuff which also contains half the amount

For 70 quid?
It's a ten quid frame and 10 seconds in photoshop, 20 quid would be overpriced

And where does the £600 price tag for Photoshop come into these calculations? :/
You can do this in CS2 can't you?
