Mods - i'd like to know if it would be possible to implement some kind of rating system for user, on how trust worthy they are. it would need to be based on a system, where by everytime some1 buys or sells summat, they get rated by the person they are dealing with (i think ebay has summat like this)
its just that with the board ever expanding, we've got con artists on here who are out just to make a buck off of us lot.
Just wanna no what the mods think of this......and i no its been suggested in the past.....but i just wanted to make the point once more that this kinda thing is needed.

It would only get abused though. One thing we could consider would be CS running an escrow scheme however....

Yeah, the amount of tits that say they want something then never fullfill their agreement. I don't think some of them relise once you agree on here to buy something you are legally bound to complete the deal unless the item isn't how explained etc

I've considered a ratings scheme in the past but as Tim says it would be very easy to throw it unless it was particularly cunning and strict. It would need to be part of a larger system for dealing generally which is also in my grand plan of things.
In the mean time, and as I've already posted in the C+W guidelines, I've always said that no-one is going to object if a potential buyer makes a request for feedback before purchase.
