Got a scrap corsa that im weighing in, but ive taken engine out so lost some weight there left gearbox in though but filled the back with scrap

its completely sat on its arse got x2 bottom end of engines in, flywheels, brake discs, suspension arms about 4 tow bars, basically all the heavy stuff..

anyone got a rough idea of how much it would weigh, ill try get some pics

I scrapped a ford puma without an engine and nothing I side and got 61 quid.

I got 51 pound for a corsa b shell just had windows and rear axle on it

this isnt good news how long ago? its lke £140 a tonne now

When I weighed mine in I'd stripped almost everything off it, including doors etc. then crammed it full, generator in the engine bay, 2 fridges and a fridge freezer, brake discs, shocks, old doors, bonnet, radiator out of a house, all sorts. Weighed in at 1200kg-ish. It was £180 a tonne at the time too so we got about £210.

they wont take fridges and freezers over here, you have to pay them to take them off you lol

Was thinking of asking a similar question since I'm scrapping my 206 next week. Nothings gonnabe stripped off it. How much d'ya think I'll get?

if your not stripping it or adding anything to it just google the kerb weight then you'll have a rough idea

There was only one fridge that was still in one piece which was thrown in the front then buried, the others where compressed in with a telehandler so no longer looked like fridges

I got £75 for a corsa b with no engine but everything else so £90 at a guess?
