I have a chipped ecu for dizzee redtop engine. I bought it of a friend and ran it in my redtop untill i got a new car.
Not sure what chip it is but definitely made difference. It revs to 8000, so was off clocks in my car and when you changed gear over 7000 revs a big bang and flame came out the exhaust.
Just want to know what they are worth ?
Thanks

Can you 100% confirm it revved to 8k RPM?? Standard limiter is 6800, so anything over that, (7k on the clocks) without proof is just put simple, a guess.
Also was the engine highly modified?? As revving to 8k is pointless and wouldn't make a difference on a standard-ish motor as power drops off before that. And also without ARP's at the least, it wouldn't last very long before a rod pops through the block.
Just some things to consider before selling something it may not be.

I can prove it if they come to pick up and try it on the spot tbh my first redtop just had arps and put it straight on my second redtop standrd engine just powercap oil coiler an straight through exhaust and had no issues but who redlines there car all the time ? On both cars it picked up alot better 100% i know what you mean about 7k limiter but when i say 8k it literally revved load well past 7k as in the same gap estimated....... Only wanted a price

Its sounds like a load of bullshit more like.
You can't prove it revved to 8k with a 7k rev counter.
