Well this is way overdue

Decided i wanted a new car at the end of 2012, had my mind set on a v5 sport beetle but every one i found in my budget was a complete dog! on an off chance i did an insurance quote on a z4 and found it to be a reasonable amount finally! turned 22 which probably helped.
resulting from that i threw my budget out the window and doubled it

kept my eye out for a few nights until i joined the z4forum where someone linked me to this.......






fell in love from the off really, messaged the guy to find out more and if there was any movement on the price....there wasnt, two people were coming to buy it so i needed to pay a deposit asap as i couldnt view it for over a week.
main issue being a 270mile trip to exeter.

anyway deal was done and i set off on the journey back



mpg was great on the way back taking it easy





Said i wasnt going to modify it in any way but that lasted 2days

gloss vinyl wrapped the chrome kidney surrounds.



Gave it the first clean with me.....










Got my private plate swapped over



went to take some winter pics up near pendle hill....



hell of a lot more to come........ im a year behind so bare with us

Fitted a stubby Ariel and changed my exhaust tips to some custom made ones by Machine Monkey.

new wheel time.......

18'' bbs ch's





Painted calipers with aluminium paint, nice and fresh looking





cut down side indicators





tinted them quite dark, mainly so they dont look like indicators now, just like an inset badge









vinyl wrapped the lower part of the bumper
(dont like the m bumper without the m bonnet)

Bought some 4d carbon fibre vinyl off ebay to sort out the centre console and the dash aluminium

bought some winter tyres for the rear of my old wheels just incase it snowed badly (it didnt)

ive missed loads out but im really pissed with the size of the pics and i cannot be arsed to sort them out now.

its not better than bens really, its just different.

I don't think it suits those wheels either. Tyre size looks too chunky for the profile of the car and the ride height. Maybe some tyre shine would make it look better.

its not been cleaned since january, tyres are standard sizes and i didnt want 19s , ruins the ride.

your the first to say they dont suit it though each to there own n all that

Video of the noise from my dash cam.
Wasn't really pushing it as it was very windy, greasy and my traction control is currently broken
It's louder than the mic records too

Exhaust tips are gorgeous!

Do not approve of stickers, fake carbon sticky back plastic and I'm undecided on the rear lights.

But lovely car all the same

Cheers Jambo. I know you have a hate for sticky back plastic carbon. But it's loads better than the aluminium it had. And for about £10 it's far cheaper than having it custom made in carbon.

Does this sway the light hate..? I'm a fan of the bright white dots without the red.
