So I've not had a decent air freshener in the car for a while now and I'm fancying getting a few to try. I think I'm leaning towards an apple sorta scent (probably one of the california scent range). Want something that lasts a fair while, and isn't to harsh. What's your favourite car scent? Favourite brand? I've pretty much only had the magic tree ones before and they're nothing to write home about.

If you keep the interior clean there is no need for an air freshener

Well I suppose air freshener is kind of the wrong term for it. I do keep on top of my interior and keep it clean, it'd just be nice to have a subtle scent in the car y'know?

Got a jelly belly thing in mine right now and it's rather strong.
Smells better than the damp smell though

Was just thinking exactly this. Haven't used an air freshner since I was 20 and had Poppy Coral in my Corsa SXI

I randomly found my old blue one out of my corsa at the back of a cupboard in my office today-suffice to say, it's now in the bin but it was still lemony fresh and must have been in there for at least 4 years since I stripped the car!

On topic, I have a Yankee Candle Leather air freshened in the main car and about 6 of the frogs/Lamborghini/etc. ones that the Albanian car wash give me in the boot as it smells like a dog died in a sewer, floated into a river and then got put in my boot - really shouldn't leave wet kit in the boot for as long as I do.

Are the mist into fabric ones good then? Never used them personally. Can't imagine them lasting that long tbh
