Last two weeks have been proper quiet. More so than I've ever seen CS.

Slippery slope when it gets quiet, I don't bother as much now as there's not so much going on.

I tend to come on most lunchtimes for a quick browse. I have never been a big contributor, but the site has changed in recent years.

For me, the amount of 'real' car discussion in general chat has diminished

As for the projects section, well, if someone gets nearly 700 replies over 27 pages for a half vinyl wrapped land rover (absolutely no disrespect to Steve, as most of the comments in his thread are spam ), when some people are completely rebuilding their car/changing engines, interiors, panels etc, I find that a little hard to comprehend.

Seems like more people are interested in slagging people/cars off behind that safety of the internet rather than discussing cars as such.

Anyway, rant over.

I'm here, often read. Post slightly less these days. Less on here interests me. Silly drama going on in the project threads I do follow.

I'm sure it's been getting quieter every month for the past couple of years.

I fully agree, but nothing is/can really be done about it.

Lack of people modifying Corsa's, people that have them sell and move on. Then you have odd few people that like to tell us they've been here for years, stay for banter and kiss ass etc

Lots of people correcting other peoples grammar, moaning about the very car the website is based on and far too many people have their heads up their own arses. I don't reply half as much as I used to, not much point.

Something can always be done about websites with too little traffic.

Had noticed it being a little quieter too. But then there's always a good turn out at PVS etc.

Because of work I never come on until the evenings now, used to be on regularly when I was a student.

Definitely. At peak times there used to be about 4 lines worth of people on here, now, even at "busy" times theres only maybe a line or 2, and not all of them are active posters.

Remember the days where you posted something in Off Day and it would be onto the 2nd page if it didnt get a reply within 5/6 hours. Now we have 4/5 day old threads on here.

I come mainly for the banter and even that is diminishing rapidly . It can't be down to "growing up" as am sure people still use the internet . People are probably going to different forums
