it sounds promising but they need to give some actual details as it doesnt make a jot of sense right now!

So youll have thus:

2018 WC in Russia
2018-2020 Euro qualifiers
2019 Nations League
2020 Euros in Europe
2020-2022 WC qualifiers
2021 Nations League
2022 WC in Qatar (LOL)

Sounds like a MASSIVE increase in games if this is to be played ALONGSIDE qualifiers for world cup/euros PLUS occasional friendlies

Also, this will be good for good teams as more interestign matches but significantly shitter for non-European teams and the non top-division nations, who will play much less glamorous fixtures. Also, how supportive will England be, or say France, when they get relegated to the second tier and are playign Norway every few months (for example)

Do. Not. Understand.

Just sounds like a fancy name and endorsement for friendlies to me. Cash cow also springs to mind.

PL teams will still have thir top players suspiciously having injuries when these fixtures come up.
