I now have a new car, so I have dropped the price considerably and will consider sensible offers.
Make - Vauxhall
Model - Astra Coupe
Engine - 2.0 16v Turbo
Mileage - 70,000
Price - £1200
Location - Woking, Surrey
I'm looking at selling my Astra, as per the title it requires a new turbo (the symptoms are smoking at idle and burning oil). I've been quoted £600 to supply and fit the new turbo so I've tried to price the car accordingly.
Aside from needing a new turbo, the car is in great condition. I've owned it for almost 7 years now and I've only put 25k miles on it, most of which were motorway miles. Since I've worked in London for the last 5 years I've hardly used it.
As far as I'm aware, it has every possible optional extra (correct me if I'm wrong):
Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Cruise Control
Electric Mirrors and Windows
17" Alloy Wheels
CD Multi-changer
Black/White Leather/Alcantara Interior
I will have a new MOT put on the car this week (01/04/14).
The car will be SORN from this weekend (05/04/14)
It is overdue a service, but apart from that has full service history (mostly Vauxhall, some from an independent Vauxhall specialist).
It has also recently had a new battery and a new tyre due to a puncture.
I'm the 3rd owner from new.
The car is completely standard with no modifications.
I'm not looking for a part exchange. Sensible offers will be considered. Please feel free to send me abuse if you feel I've overpriced it but do consider that it is high spec with low miles for its age.
I'd rather not post my mobile number or personal e-mail on here so contact will have to be via u2u in the first instance. I've tried to be as honest as possible but please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
