Been shopping around for beds for ages now and still not seen any we both agree on.
Bensons and dreams are our 2 local shops and john Lewis, whilst nice, were ridiculously expensive.
Missus likes the sleigh bed style, upholstered in leather/faux leather, whilst I prefer a normal looking bed, upholstered with a diamond pattern on.
Any ideas? Ebay seems a bit hit and miss as family have found out.
Budget for the Frame is around 500 quid, although the lesser the better. In king size only, but needs to be no bigger than around 165x235.

Silentnight factory is just down the road. EVERYBODY knows at least one person who works there and can get them at staff discount!
IKEA? Although they are a bit of a pain with their odd sizes.

The odd sizes are definitely annoying, also the fact that home delivery costs quite a lot. But the beds are really cheap in comparison, and mattresses aren't too extortionate either.

Ah yes, forgot about Ikea. We went there a while back and saw nothing we liked.
Has to be leather/faux leather. No bare Wood, metal or cloth.

Ikea sizes just means you need to buy sheets from Ikea also. Which may or may not restrict you depending how far away you live from there and whether you like what they have.

Got ours from tesco home online. Was cracking.
Went to bensons to do the 1-5 thing to see what sort of mattress we wanted. A lot of it was based on reviews online also.

Got ours from ikea. Loved a particular sleigh style leather bed in Harveys I think it was but the massive cost compared to Ikea wasn't justifiable.
Maybe in a few years when we're minted, but for now we managed to get a frame, mattress and full bed set including sheets for less than the cost of that frame alone.
Not sure how they price it so cheap tbh, but I'm not complaining!

Bought both mine from Bensons beds. One of those is around 8 years old and in on the 5th matress.
We have seen a TV bed in Dreams we want to replace the older bed with. Was up for £1500 and currently on sale for £700 according to the TV last night.

Just chosen a new bed and mattress from ikea as a wedding present from a family member. They do European sizes aswel now in beds, mattress and sheets but stuck with there sizes.
25 yr guarantee on there mattresses is really good.

Ikea don't do faux leather sleigh beds AFAIK, so they're out of the running.

Bought ours online after spending forever looking in shops and not agreeing.
Just made sure we bought a decent mattress which is the most important thing. For me anyway.
