Went to leave on Friday morning and the gearbox and clutch had developed a death rattle, (didn't even drive 1 mile)
So came home and changed the gearbox and clutch, luckily i had all the bits anyway so didn't actually cost anything.

Thought i could just drop the gearbox out quite easily.


Ended up having to remove more than i had planned.


Got spare box in



Mostly back together (sunday)


Finished it off yesterday


Feels lovely to drive again, gears are so silky, i reckon my old box must of been buggered for a while. Going to put new gearbox oil in tonight.

Whys the radiator on the piss? Is that a standard feature?

Standard feature, is too big to fit in straight so they put it at an angle. Its a hot running engine, cooling is its main problem/death cause.

new cars are bad value for money imo.
