Team of the season: Up until 2 games ago Liverpool, but has to be City really
Player of the season: Luis Suarez - Can't argue at all with that, although Yaya is a close second
Young Player of the season: Ross Barklay
Manager of the season: Tony Pulis - Can't argue that either, simply outstanding job
Goal of the season: Might just be because it's fresh in my mind, but Joe Garner v Rotherham - better youtube link it seeing as 90% of the people on here are unaware there's anything below the premier league - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CskUCm72fo8 - followed by Kasami - The arsenal team goal in 3rd

Team of the season: Liverpool, 1 result away from a Title no one gave them a hope of winning at the start.
Player of the season: Luis Suarez, cemented his place as one of the best in the World.
Young Player of the season: Eden Hazard if he's considered young, Sterling if not.
Manager of the season: Brendan Rodgers
Goal of the season: 5 of the 6 on the MOTD comp were worthy winners but I'd probably opt for Wilshere because goals of that ilk only come along every few seasons whereas long range efforts you'll get several of.
Moment of the season: Mourinho capitulating on camera when he fucked Chelsea's season. hilarious.
Surprise package of the season: Liverpool

Are Everton really a surprise package? They aren't really any better positioned the previous seasons gone by, Ok they're playing slightly more aggressive football but it seems to me to be a same outcome different approach. Plus they had loads of influential loan signings

It surprised me how good the football they played was, maybe the surprise was actually Martinez. Didn't think he'd get them playing as good as he did.

Team of the season: Man City, choked the least when it mattered the most. Dirty cheats
Player of the season: Kolo Toure, doesn't go missing and big games nor choke under pressure
Young Player of the season: Raheem Sterling, Adam Lallana and Aaron Ramsey have all been superb IMO
Manager of the season: Tony Pulis, turned the worst team in the league into mid-table cruisers
Goal of the season: Wilshere, followed by Kasami. The rest are hit and hope + shite keeping
Moment of the season: Beating Sp*rs 3 times without conceding, absolutely decimating Napoli and Liverpool at home in October (2-0 was very flattering to the opposition on both occasions), the atmosphere at Norwich yesterday, the joy of a SF penalty win and hopefully the FA Cup Final!
Shittest moment of the season: Losing to the worst Utd team we'll see in donkey years
Surprise package of the season: Liverpool (+), Utd (-)

Team of the season: Liverpool - played a wonderful brand of attacking football all season.
Player of the season: Luis Suarez/Toure - can't decide between the two. Both single handedly won games time and again.
Young Player of the season: Hazard - Was in excellent form until his injury.
Manager of the season: Tony Pulis - transformed Palace in to a formidable side.
Goal of the season: Wilshere - absolutely mesmerising and one that will be remembered for years.
Moment of the season: Pardew nutting the Hull lad. Showing just what sort of twat he is.
Surprise package of the season: Liverpool. The "this is our year" jokes quickly disappeared until the Chelsea game.

Kasami's had some actual technique as well as a ludicrous angle (plus a decent ball to him), it wasn't just a long ranger which people only remember because they happen less frequently not to mention the fact the keepers were at fault for Shelvey, Rooney and Suarez.

At no point in time have I ever heard Van Basten's goal being described as a hit and hope, and I'd expect the same respect given to Kasami's.

Indeed, I wouldn't class them as hit and hope, I also wouldn't class Rooneys as hit and hope either.

ofc there was technique but if it wasn't hit and hope then people would be taking pot shots from the halfway line everytime... also, god knows what Adrian was doing but didn't judge the flight at all

I would like some respect for the fact Robbo has chosen Kolo Toure as his POTY.

All three were great long range volleys, but (Shelvey's being that bit better technique) they were all fairly straight forward situations; the ball sitting up just right etc. Kasami had a LOT to do. The ball came at him with pace, and he was at full flight. Hell, the fact he actually stayed on his feet is an achievement Stunning effort.

I clearly still have affections for the old lug, though I did, of course, mean Yaya
