Mrs has just rang me saying she can smell the exhaust fumes coming through the air vents. She had on 05 Corsa 1.4 Petrol.
Anyone know what might be causing this?
She regularly has the a/c on which i have obviously told her to turn off and not use the fans until i get home from work and can investigate myself, would appreciate a head up if anyone can help

Might be heater matrix, depends if the smell she describes is 100% accurate.

Check the coolant level.

Would be hard for exhaust fumes to get into the air vents imo

Im going to sit in the car later and try and access what it is and where its coming from.
My initial thoughts was maybe manifold issue, didnt think of heater matrix. She always has the a/c on so i wonder if thats given up the ghost

Check the rubber breather hoses under the bonnet haven't split, make sure the fuel cap is on tight and the seal is still on ok.
