As above.

Untill my new sky hub gets delivered and my Broadband gets set up i have no internet.
Can i use my old hub just to transmit wirelessly from my pc to my apple TV?

I have never tried it before.. but assume it should work?

Yes assuming both devices join OK and have the appropriate share permissions.
