Anyone ever used a tunit box before?

An expensive resistor that. All it does is change the voltage from the fuel rail sensor so the ecu thinks fuel rail pressure is a bit low so compensates by opening the injectors longer.
A proper re-map will always be better
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Id would personally get a live map done than "trick" my ecu

Dtuk boxes are good on cdti engines.

That's fine, but I've had them on loads of vauxhalls and not had a problem so far. Not quite as good a s a remap but not far off.
With the vauxhall ones specifically, there are loads about so always cheap on ebay.
