It's a complete pain in the ass to sell anything on there now.

Had a set of wheels up, which finished last night. The guy that won them asked me all the spec's before bidding etc.

Now he has won he is asking again, then asking what condition they're in, now he's claiming no courier will pick up from me.

Last time I sold wheels on ebay (6months ago) they went to Ireland without a problem.

This guy is a genuine bellend,

So what do I do, I get the impression he's gonna cut and run without paying,

This happened to me.

Sold a phone, with the box etc, so in no way could it have been damaged in transit.

I got a claim put in against me and got it sent back with a snapped charger plug.

I too tend to have alot of problems selling shit on there. Usually loadsa interest, questions, watchers etc but in the end, 0 bids.

If I can sell it on Amazon, I chuck it on there instead.

Help & Contact - Resolution Centre

I sold an item.

I haven't received my payment yet.

Work through that and unless the buyer objects you'll get the fee back.

Hate hate hate questions after the deal is done, just so obvious that they're going to be a world of pain even after you send the stuff.

I relisted them now, as he had no intention of paying, I reported him to ebay.

Now I got a message from him telling ME not to fuck HIM about,

What a bellend.

Messaged him back telling him as much (without being rude) and told him ebay will deal with him.

Sold a laptop, perfectly working.

Guy buys it, takes 2 weeks to pay, I send straight away once payment received.

He complains near 30 days after receiving it.
Saying the 'a' and 'r' button don't work. (bullshit, I wrote my dissertation with it).
Says the laptop is now running really slow and bad, because it has a virus, because he didn't install antivirus. (I listed saying all anti virus/programs added will be deleted.

Ebay sided with him, even though he refused to send the item back to me!!

Sold a set of brake discs.
Got told they were the wrong ones
Buyer wanted all the money back, but couldn't return the item as he had opened them and sent to his brother in Poland. (Surely when he opened them he would of known if they were wrong, especially as he claimed to work with this make of car for 15+ years)
He only paid £5 for them and they were right, brand new, grooved and drilled discs.
Ebay sided with him and I had to pay.

It is bullshit on there now.

We run an ebay shop at work, i'd say over the last 18 months the 'customers' have got a lot worse in everyway, ebay needs some competition in the shape of somewhere whos is with the seller a bit more.

If someone has signed for a special delivery at the address then you should be ok in my experience, obviously just keep tracking no. etc for the dispute. Saying that paypal seem to refund anyone nowadays.

They've magically found it now, apparently neighbour had it, and postman didn't leave a card,

Still blames me for using Royal Mail (surely most reliable device and tbf they did deliver when promised) and maybe I should use somebody else.

So, they realised I had concrete evidence and shit themselves and decided to

Sold an engine (listed as For parts or not working), said "Collection only". First message from seller - "can you put it on a pallet and wrap it". No I can't other wise I would offer postage.

Ok so he picked it up yesterday but now wants to return it as it's not what he needed... Cunt.

I'd just take the money out my PayPal account and tell them to fuck off. I don't have PayPal now due to a similar situation and don't use eBay, it's great.

All PayPal then do is put your account in debt and then get debt collectors onto you. I've been there with some cunt who claimed that he didn't receive a PDA I sold him about 10 years ago. My stupid fault for not sending it recorded. That was the last time I sold on ebay.

When I want to sell shit now, I just use gumtree and sell it locally

It'd be great if eBay fell on it's ass as a direct result of their attitude of always siding with the buyer, but i just can't see it happening. Cunts.
