Was behind some new merc the other day. They really have gone downhill with the styling. Looked like some cheap jap hatchback. Not what I'd call a Mercedes benz.

I really, really like it.

I've always found Merc's to be utterly boring, but these new ones are just so aggressive looking.

These shots don't do it much justice, though. Saw a few new C-classes in Germany a couple of weeks ago and they are stunning cars.

The centre console and interior is amazing as well, though I do agree that the screen could have been better integrated (or just integrated at all).

I even like the dark wood panelling in the above. I must be getting old...

What are the slots between the light switch and right hand air vent?

Interior is light years ahead of the competition, had a good poke round them at Geneva.

Dynamics are not up to scratch unsuprisingly as its designed for comfort over race pace.

Id have one, absolutely gorgeous. Those pictures are not flattering, and the colour doesn't suit IMO

Or just a weird looking placeholder for optional extras you didn't get.

the new 3 series doesn't really do it for me - nice car but needs a good amount of options to have a good spec

The sport plus models are nice with 19's etc but by the time you have done that the 5 series is cheaper - on our list anyway

I like them. The thing I don't like about them is the same as every other manufacturer, it's a mini version of the models above it.

Not sure what the deal with the stick on screens is but its a common trend.

Have noticed that as well. Was in an i3 the other day and it has two of the fucking things, not even thin ones like the Merc, but proper bulky ones.

front end on that one looks unflattering because the pictures been shot at a wide angle, if you look at it from something shot further away it looks much nicer

These new Mercs look stunning, see them everyday on the motorway, look so aggressive. Make the new 5 series M-Sports look quite tame.

Hate the back. The S/E Class styling hasn't transferred well.

Still love the A-Class. Best thing they make at the moment imho.
