What's everyone's views on them I've heard loads of mixed reviews. I quite like the idea of them. Just be annoying when you stop to fill up fuel , I know you can reduced the timer on it though when you stop.

they invalidate your insurance. Not worth it, just drive off boost the last few miles before you finish your journey. Pointless imo.

Best way really like everyone's said to do and take it easy last few miles or so. I didn't know they invalidated your insurance ! Can see why though

As Nic says, or just sit with it running for 1 minutes before turning off.

not really required now a days as they have separate oil feed and pump which runs after the engine has been swicthed off

never once i have I bothered to take it so easy before pulling up anywhere and its going well after 85k

Because it keeps the engine running after you have turned the ignition off.

It dosn't disarm the steering lock though, nor will it stay running for very long after its set and the key is taken out the ignition.

it bypasses most thatcham devices, plus its also illegal to leave a car with the engine running I believe.
