I have bought some new 17cm speakers along with some adaptors so that they will fit into the front doors. will i be able to put the door card things back over the top of them or will they pop out too far?

you sure m8? it depends on the mounting depth of your speakers.
i've got some 5" speakers and i need to make some adjustments to my door pockets before they can go back on.
