Iv wanted a tablet for sometime but never got round to getting one.
I have a moto g phone which I find great apart from browsing and the battery life.
I have £300 to spend and ive looked at a few tablets now and I see my choice as being
google nexus 7 - think a 10 is out of my price range and I don't hear as many good things about the 10 as the 7
Ipad mini - could probably afford a regular but second hand
Samsung galaxy tab s (usually £400 but I can get a deal on one through my dads work for £301 lol
its mostly used for playing music, some games, a bit of browsing
help guys

If you're not just looking at Android devices:
I've got an Asus ME400C.. It runs full blown Windows 8 (not RT) so it runs just about anything you can run on your Windows PC.. I love it..
Personally if I was in the market for a Tablet right now I would go with this:

You can get a refurbed first gen Surface Pro Core i5 128Gb for £320.

Will piss all over anything else at that sort of price - it's a full Core i5 laptop but in a tablet shell.
I played South Park Stick of Truth all the way through on one, in 1080P HD using a wireless Xbox 360 controller, if that helps sway you at all.

Watch out - thats a refurb and only comes with 90 days warranty. Personally would not want anything less than a year from a purchase.

If you're not looking for full Windows you're probably better off getting the Surface 2...

I did mention it was a refurb; I'd still have a punt on one at that price even with a three month warranty. Mine's coming up to 8 months old and touch wood so far no issues whatsoever.
The Surface 2 as recommended by kz is a lovely bit of kit if you don't need to run legacy Windows applications.
