To replace the Corsa for a few month.
And Saturday morning
Because
Hole in the block. New engine going in Saturday along with cambelt and a clutch.
Then once on the road can sell or more than likely break the C

Always did like this shape of Fiesta - ST kit suited it very well. Leather looks nice too
What engine is going in it?

Yeah me too. Might look for some ST sideskirts. Got a bit of bodywork to do on it too so going to color code the handles. Boot strip and mirror caps. And get some facelift mouldings for the sides. Might look at facelift front and rear lights.
Just standard engine going back in, 1.6 100hp. Contemplated the ST conversion but scrapped that idea.

Prefer pre-facelift fronts but post-facelift rears. Very light smoking on those front ones would look ace with it being black anyway

Love the look of these totally but I can never ever get comfortable driving them. Perhaps I need to drive one with some uber seats like those ones

Very nice that Ben! See how your lower grilles etc are gloss black, looks great on the blue/red/white ones but thinking it will look stupid all black on a black car.
Wasn't even looking for a fiesta or anything really but cropped up cheap needing an engine so thought I might aswell! Seats are ace. very comfy, shame there not heated. Also doesn't have heated windscreen so might see if I can retro fit one for winter.

Yep, Completely agree, I know someone with a Black one and he's done something similar but left the fog rings silver. Looks terrible.
Very jealous of the full leather seats, mine are the Half leathers, still really comfy and do hold you in corners

I know mate, I can't wait until I'm older and I can buy an over priced white van and put a push bike in the back and ride down muddy hills.

going by current prices mine is worth more than I paid for it so that makes it cheap not over priced. Pricing is based on product demand, which there is quite a high demand for this product. Therefore the vehicles are correctly priced for the market.

Me too Pow. I thought it was just me. Seems to be something about the driver's seat to gear stick ratio, plus the flatness and hardness of the seat cushion.
It always seems like i'm flapping around in them, rather than feeling securely seated. And the gear shift feels 'odd' to me. Can't quite put my finger on what it is though.

Can't exactly comment as I haven't technically driven IT. Just been towed in it. But seems comfy etc.
Got engine out Saturday
And a better pic of the old one
Got everything swapped over, inlet exhaust gearbox etc. put a new clutch and slave cylinder on. And got a new cambelt and waterpump to go on too. Going back in Saturday.

I've never looked at the engine in my car. The clutch is the original 55k on and my cambelt is like new.
