Comparing the old lower gearbox mount to new solid one the two don't look right. Is this right? If so which side has the stuck out side?

On stanadrd one is an arrow facing front of car, I take it that's not on new one

It's not a great pic but if you look closely at the second pic standard mount in hand and new solid mount on top. The standard mount seems to be wider and even where as the ally one sticks out more on one side

Might be that the bush isn't home. Is that correct for your leg? Could do with seeing them in the same projection rather than the alu one the wrong way up. If it fits the leg then I would think it'll sit nicer when its bolted to the span part.

Yeah it fits the mount as it not as wide but depending on how I fit it could be roughly 5mm out

had a bit of a search and this pic seems to show the bush evenly in the aluminium housing

Do you now which side the sticking out part of the bush should go on. OS of NS?

pretty sure the sticking out bit is the side i put the metal mount on

This is for the bottom/back gearbox mount the metal is on both sides

Mine must have had a different type of mount
