When these first came out, they were everywhere around here. Now I only see the one rs500 in works car park.

Any plans for it?

Think a lot of them have been written off

Maybe in time a Mongoose Exhaust but for the time being, will be keeping it standard

Excellent, "usable" or not they look and sound badass. Still get a double take from me when one drives past.

I can imagine new focus st is bad enough and that's a generation ahead of this!

They are in gear monsters though. No good on wet roads at traffic lights.

Blue definitely has to be the best colour to have one in!! Looks smart been following RSdirect on facebook and they post some lovely examples up. Get the wheels done black goes really well against to blue.

think they are all in basildon. See at least three when I walk the dog

I really like them. If they were a bit cheaper I think I would have got one by now. Cant bring myself to spend that much cash on one though. Noise = epic

Green was a lot extra ££ from the factory. Blue was a little cheaper.

Only one you didn't have to pay extra for was the white apparently! I really like the Green but Hibs play in Green and I cant be having that

Love the look of these. Was on a ford focus track day at knockhill against them and they sounded superb at full chat. I have to admit they're not as quick as I expected.

Whats that video meant to prove, chris? That your highly modified vx220 is quicker?

It has more bhp and much less weight against a standard focus RS anyway, so that's a given.

I'd also like to see you get a weeks worth of shopping and the kids in the car

it was only 250bhp at that point. which is 100bhp less than a rs500.

its not meant to prove anything really. just reminded me i had a race with one so popped the vid up.

Mates got a white one standard apart from exhaust sounds awesome , quicker than my cav off the line but the cav catches it up if it manages to get traction and pulls past ever so slightly , still rather the focus all day long actually been debating selling all my cars to just have one car like a FRS but need something economical to go to work in from what iv read on the web there thirsty!! I'm sure of Steve did a track day in a puma he could confirm the mpg for me though.
