Right i have a gsi at current moment and its to slow, im not going to tune engine cos by time i have it wud cost more than just to put a 2L turbo in.
Right im wanting info on How much it will cost to the correct hundred pound ie 1900 For the 2 l turbo conversion and all what is needed ie all round breaks, labour u name it the lot
i was thinking about 3500 for the lot Does this seem right???
Also any ideas what engine wud be easy to put in!!
Reason for upgrade is cos my gsi is slow and not spending 1000's on mods for engine when i can bang a 2L in
All help wud b gr8 no stupid comments though please im being serious here
Many thanks lads

Been out in a 2.0litre turbo, a v v highly tuned 2.0ltire on Throttle bodies, and a very highly tuned 1.6 16v on throttle bodies.
1.6 16v was most deffo the best sounding and felt great
2.0litre turbo, fast, smooth, (Phase 2, 270bhp odd) but the fact that i could feel the car still trying to spin the front wheels in 4th bored me.
2.1 16v on Throttle bodies was by far the fastest and most power that could be delivered.
U'd be better off looking at going for the 200-220bhp option on Throttle bodies on the 2.0litre. 2.0litre turbo is fast, but just fealt boring.

sorry but you cant beat turbo power, thats my opinion anyway lol
and yes the wrx's are no probs unless you come across 1 with massive power,
you will sail past them at 150 in a standard corsa (c20let)
