Up for sale is my Audi S3 which was purchased December 2012 from Shaks Specialist cars based in Huddersfield as they have a brilliant reputation and some superb cars on there website. http://www.s-s-c.co.uk/
The car was under warranty so has had the usual faults rectified which were the brake master cylinder and also the DV valve. Car brakes and pulls like it should and I have all documents to prove the work was carried out.
Also fitted were a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 3 which I believe are the best tyres for this type of car. They have plenty of tread on them and also the nobbly bits still visible on the tyre walls to show its been cared for and not parked on kerbs etc! The tyres were fitted at WIM and also aligned at the same time (a good 300 mile return trip just for this procedure to take place!) http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/
2x Servicing, MOT and general checks etc have been carried out at Awesome GTI and all documented in the log book. Haldex service has also been carried out and servicing and MOT are due in May 2015 which will only be a minor service. http://www.awesomegti.com/
OK so more about the car
Model- Audi S3 2007 Daytona Grey
Mileage- Approx 73k- Will update thread once checked.
Condition- Very good condition for age.
Owners- I am the 3rd owner, it was not classed as owned by SSC so only 2 previous owners to me.
MOT and service- Due May 2015. Full service was carried out 2013 including Haldex and spark plugs and documented on the invoices. Car also has fully stamped service book and was serviced in May 2014 on 69k. Always filled with Shell V Power only.
Standard Equipment- Flat bottom wheel with Bose, Cruise control, Ipod connector, rear parking sensors, rain and light sensor pack, heated seats, air con, telephone prep.
Work Carried out- other than services, the car has had the following repairs:-
Master brake cylinder replaced (common fault)
DV valve was not working correctly (fitted an upgraded version from the newer S3's)
Charcoal canister was full, replaced with brand new Audi part.
Rear brake pads and discs along with passenger side caliper replaced at around 71k.]
Modifications to the car include the following:-
Spacers all round
MY2009 upgraded rear lights
Jabba Motorsports Stage 1 map (can be removed on request)
SACHS performance clutch and flywheel
Speed camera detection tracker
Trackstar Plus tracker fitted (for insurance and theft purposes) £150 a year or £399 for 3 years if you wish to activate it.
Interior has custom leather arm rests and triangle grab handles.
LED number plate lights
LED day glows bought from this forum, very bright and nice!
Always cleaned with Meguiars and kept in garage at night. Hardly use the car now as my new job involves working from home so mileage has been kept to a minimum!
Selling the car due to taking delivery of a Golf R in next couple of months so starting the ball rolling by putting it up for sale!
