Bit of a random question, but generally wheelchair users need 1000mm to turn/maneuver.

No its a new build house so first kitchen.

I think its in the rules, even though no one living there has a wheel chair. Same goes for you now need an access ramp into the house.

I'm trying to design it online and get a rough price before I go into a showroom to get it done properly

You can rip up the ramp and stuff wheel chair access as soon as its in the owners posession afaik. Thats what people did when I worked onsite. Is it your house? Self build?

It's not technically a self build.
It's a new development but I've had the house designed and the company that owns the land pays the builder. I pay 10% of the overall cost upfront and then the rest on completion

New homes do not have to be "lifetime" homes from what I have seen. However, if it does have to be, here is some guidance I found:

6 The width of the doorways and
hallways should conform to the
specifications in the next column.
Doorway clear
opening width (mm)
Corridor/ passageway
width (mm)
750 or wider 900 (when approach is
head- on)
750 1200 (when approach is
not head- on)
775 1050 (when approach is
not head- on)
900 900 (when approach is not
head- on)
The clear opening width of the front door should
be 800mm. There should be 300mm to the side
of the leading edge of doors on the entrance
level.

7 There should be space for
turning a wheelchair in dining
areas and living rooms and
adequate circulation space for
wheelchair users elsewhere.
A turning circle of 1500mm diameter or a
1700x1400mm ellipse is required.
