Hey there folks, just wondering. I'm on the look out for a genuinely rust free Corsa b that's in excellent condition.

Do they still exist? Ive been haunting ebay/carandclassic/autotrader etc and can't seem to find anything that fits the bill. Model type is unimportant and most things will be getting changed "wheels,suspension,interior,engine etc. Just want a superb example to start with or am I asking too much?

Bit extreme but import one from south africa,im sure they kept making them up until 2006 so it shouldn't be hard to find a minter if really want one.

Most are rotten now, or claim/look to be mint on top but the owner has skimped on chassis repairs. Scary when some people run high power engines in them too.

Mine is a constant battle, had the front crossmember replaced in 2012 and the rear valance repaired. Lots of other usual Corsa B rust spots have had to be sorted out as well.

I found my 1.0 which was mint underneath, they do exist just go see them in person, look for the last of them at x reg or 2000 models

Yes, in Australia.
My old GSi was rust free apart from a spot where the paint had chipped, and the new one seems a pretty rust free so car.

yes mine 44k from new one owner from new (me) was wax oiled from new and has been dry stored for the last 12 years

No Jack, was a dark metallic blue, basic model.
