Well its been a while since I have so ended up looking at 3 cars this week and then Sat took a trip to Oxford and bought myself this
Was initially thinking a month or so ago of an E46 M3 but talked myself out of them due to there age; then last sat took out an 335i coupe; then decided I really wanted a convertible. Looked at 2 325i M sport Convertibles in the week but knew after driving the 335i thats what I really wanted.
Anyway this one came up so popped up to have a look and was offered a good part ex on my Skoda so thought why not! Has full BMW history; low owners and all the toys. Only down point is the £485 road tax which is hard to stomach!!

Absolutely love these. Has to be coupe though. I just don't like 4 seat verts for some strange reason
Bet it's a bit of a beast

a remap does not give it the status of an M3 killer

Yes! One of the very few convertibles I'd actually own. Soft tops look silly.
Fantastic colour as well.

Thanks all; the wood wouldnt have been my first choice but all seem to have it.
Its not in M3 league IMO; different car. My budget wouldnt stretch for the same in M3 and to be honest I wanted something a little softer for the journeys I do.

Only gripe on these is the rear lights. They look so dated and were really cheeky of BMW imo as the E46 had LED lights, they have the tech, they simply held it back for the LCI. Cheeky fuckers

You won't get much in the boot with the roof down though. My neighbour has one and showed me. I took mine up to the Scottish Highlands for a week and had poads of stuff. You'd only be able to pack pants and a toothbrush in the 3 series

I'd imagine so but I doubt it would be a straight forward lamp swap as it'll have bulb failure indicators and canbus etc so swapping to led would cock all that up

I'm sure they do a wiring loom kit for the LCI lights.
Looks lovely
