Best methods/paints? I understand that prep is key as the floor has to be totally smooth and ready for paint but last time we had a problem with the paint coming away from the floor! Any recommendations etc?

Cheers

I done it and used Leyland garage floor paint from screwfix.

All I did for prep was wash the floor with a shampoo type thing for the kitchen and then rinse and let it dry. Floor had never been painted before and not used as a garage for a car so it was just dusty concrete.

I used to always get mine from paints4less in Skelmersdale, never had a problem even on the works floor. I think it was 20 odd quid for 10 litres.

Doing mine soon, seems like there is a million and one ways! You want it rough using some kind of acid for epoxy paint to bind to apparently. I've just gone for some cheap trade floor paint from screw fix, going to ova it first and give it a bash.

Cheers all! Ill look at that paints4less in Skem as only round corner from me. Defo need to prep the floor a bit though as the previous paint has lifted due to cars parked ontop of it

just paint it, get the right paint and it wont matter.

Dont prep and smooth it too much as it'll peel off like last time.
