Hi guys,

Used to have a project thread on here for my Corsa B so you may know who I am... but I moved on quite quickly from the B but have been on this site near enough everyday since I got rid of it. Me and my brother (DansCorsaSXi) now both have Astra VXRs, but that doesn't mean we still don't like our Corsa B's, (Dan especially, he hasn't been the same since he split his Corsa)

Here are my first 3 Cars... Corsa B 1.2 SXi, Corsa C 1.4 SRi & Corsa D 1.6T VXR.

[/URL]

The plan was to have a nice engine bay etc in the Corsa, but tbh, with how many issues the engines have when tuning them, I didn't think it was worth the risk trying to run anymore power in it as they are known for going bang. I had to wait until I turned 21 for the Astra, as couldn't get insured anywhere... but I only had to wait around 3 weeks after putting a deposit down on the Astra so it wasn't too bad. So, onto the Astra...

So far, I have had the boot strip and front fog surrounds painted, changed all the interior from silver to piano black, put a 3" non res Cobra cat back exhaust on, cross over delete with pipercross filter, new headunit, sub, bulbs etc... the small things for now. Plan is to get a show ready engine bay, with plenty of chrome piping and red silicone hoses, I have already bought some, but the engine bay really isn't it a state to be shown right now lol. Then will be moving onto bigger things like suspension and wheels and some smoothing, but that will all be in the future as things aren't cheap.

Hope you like!

Yeah you do mate haha! Zaffy was full when you went back home

Well already got cross over delete, ordered tophat, map sensor pipe and bottom boost pipe to FMIC, VXR battery cover, chrome heat shield, red rocker cover, red alloy oil catch tank, fresh header tank, few other bits for the bay to tidy it up.

Most money is being spent on the bay atm, and just had MOT and was told I need new brake pads, which are £200 a set as I have Astra 888 front brakes on which are rare as rocking horse shit... so pads and discs cost a FORTUNE.

Yes mate, 2006. Car was only on 18k miles when I bought it though as it had been dry stored for the last 6 years and never used.

I know mate, interior is like brand new, gearbox feels great etc. Bodywork is mint, few little stonechips as expected, but other than that, no scrapes, no marks etc... I did manage to kerb one of the wheels though as someone swerved onto my side of the road which made me panic and hit the kerb haha

Now you mention it iv just noticed the little Nick in the wheel it's hardly noticeable though! Does your head in when you know it's there though! Stick with the 18s they don't crack lol!

Has it got a lowering spring set on it? Looks like it sits snug more so than standard

And yes mate, it's on eibach lowering springs, 30mm and 50mm I think they are.

I do want the 19's though... the 19" snowflakes though, not the 19" Astra VXR wheels.

I loved it mate. I split it about 3 years ago, the bits that came off it (bad boy bonnet, gsi bumper etc) are still sat in the lads garage that bought them 3 years ago haha!
