Claude (the clio) has become a bit of a pain to use daily so we've been looking for a new car to use on the odd occasion.
By some stroke of coincidence my mum decided she wanted a new car so went and got a part ex price on her old one, which I then chucked at her so she didn't get rid of the car to a dealer. Ended up spending a lot less that we budgeted for too.
Anyway, I've only got a crap pic.
It's a 1.8 SRI, 2003/53. One owner since new (my mum), always been serviced by the dealer and best of all, it's done 32000 miles!
Needs a cambelt doing because of its age and the gear linkage is starting to be a problem but even so, it's a bit of a bargain.

OMG I would love that!
To me this is a bit of history having owned 5 Corsa Cs over the years.

Brilliant, good for you.
I didn't, mainly because she didn't want to sell me the car because she thinks the gearbox is shagged and I had to beg her to sell it. She was trying to haggle me down....

Why would you offer your mum more than the px price? Brownie points?
Come buy my cars for more than I want for them.

Less.
No plans as such, going to have the wheels refurbed and might put some 308mm brakes on it but I'm not sure.

No, I sold a car to a guy who managed to overheat it on the way home them argued with me to get his money back, for which he wasnt successful.

She didn't even want to take what the PX offer was originally so I did effectively haggle upwards.

Always loved the idea of 1.8 in a Corsa, mainly from the days when dsd had a 1.8 Cavalier and I thought in a Corsa it must be
